Kim said, “Candidate Kim was recommended by the Korean Bar Association, a neutral organization,” and added, “He was recommended because he possesses political neutrality and the insight to comprehensively judge cases, and was selected as the final candidate.” He also firmly expressed the party’s commitment to prosecutorial reform, saying, “The Democratic Party will continue to push forward prosecutorial reform based on checks and balances along with the launch of the HCIO.”
