Captain Missing from Dongdumal Found Dead
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Changwon Coast Guard in Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that Captain B (77) of the 1.13-ton coastal composite fishing vessel A, who went missing at sea near Dongdumal, Gangseo-gu, Busan, was found dead.
At around 9:30 a.m. that day, a civilian rescue diver discovered Mr. A underwater near the accident site.
The Coast Guard found Mr. A's capsized vessel about 0.5 nautical miles northwest of Dongdumal at around 2 a.m. on the 17th but could not find Mr. B, so they have been conducting intensive searches in the nearby sea and coastal areas.
