Through this project, the restoration of the water chestnut habitat is expected to raise awareness about ecosystem conservation.
Mayor Heo Seong-mu said, "We will actively promote the project in cooperation with the Korea Rural Community Corporation to restore the wetland value of Junam Reservoir and enhance biodiversity."
