20% Tuition Discount for Guro-gu Residents at Seoul Digital University
Early This Month, Written Business Agreement Signed ... Benefits Provided Including Admission Fee Waiver and 20% Tuition Discount
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) is joining hands with Seoul Digital University (Acting President Lee Young-soo) to promote lifelong education for residents.
On the 14th, Guro-gu announced, "We have signed a business agreement with Seoul Digital University to provide residents with opportunities for lifelong education utilizing the university's excellent resources."
According to this agreement, Guro-gu residents who enroll in Seoul Digital University will receive benefits such as exemption from the admission fee and a 20% discount on tuition fees each semester.
Considering the COVID-19 situation, the two institutions signed the agreement in writing without a separate event earlier this month. The agreement period is four years and will be automatically extended unless a separate termination notice is given.
Seoul Digital University is a regular four-year cyber university with about 10,000 students currently enrolled. It offers 30 departments (majors) including Health Care Administration, Food Service and Culinary Management, and Beauty and Cosmetology.
New students for the first semester of the 2021 academic year will be recruited from the 21st of this month to February 17th.
