Eunpyeong-gu Establishes Real-Time 'Contract Status Inquiry System'
'Contract Status Inquiry System' Newly Established and Operated within Saeol Administrative Portal for Real-Time Confirmation of Private Contract Status
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) has newly established and operates the 'Contract Status Inquiry System' within the Saeol Administrative Portal from this month, allowing real-time checking of contract status to revitalize the local economy through private contracts with various local businesses.
The Contract Status Inquiry System was built as part of the 'One-person Estimate Private Contract Operation Improvement Plan' initiated in October last year. By linking the 'Contract Management System,' which was only accessible by the Finance Department, with the 'Saeol Administrative System' used by all employees, it enables real-time checking of private contract status by company and department, facilitating contracts with various local businesses.
The search screen of the Contract Status Inquiry System consists of a basic search by fiscal year, business registration number, and contractor name, and a detailed search by ordering department, contract type, contract method, bid title, representative name, contractor address, etc. It allows searching by various conditions such as the number of contracts per company and department- and year-wise status of companies contracted by Eunpyeong-gu.
Since October last year, Eunpyeong-gu has been promoting the 'One-person Estimate Private Contract Operation Improvement' to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, and to ensure transparency and fairness in private contracts.
In particular, to encourage participation of various local businesses in private contracts, the 'One-person Estimate Private Contract Total Volume System' has been strengthened. This limits the number of private contracts per company within the same year to 3 times per department for local businesses, 2 times for non-local businesses, and within 10 times for the entire district. Previously, the total volume system was confirmed through the 'Private Contract Status' posted once a month on the 'Contract Practical Bulletin Board' within the Saeol Administrative System.
However, with the newly established Contract Status Inquiry System, it is now possible to quickly and accurately check the number of contracts per company, enabling private contracts with a wider variety of local businesses without concentration on specific companies.
Especially, since November last year, Eunpyeong-gu has built 'Contract Information Disclosure Content' on the district website, allowing easy access to 'Ordering Plans,' 'Bid Information,' 'Contract Status,' 'Payment Status,' and 'Private Contract Status' on the website, making it easier for local merchants to participate in private contracts promoted by the district according to ordering plans. With the establishment of the Contract Status Inquiry System, it is expected that transparency in private contracts will improve and the local economy will be further revitalized.
