In a post on his Facebook that day, Woo said, "I wondered why she kept repeating that she would be ruthless as I read the contents of her declaration to run."
He added, "The Na Kyung-won I remember from her first term was not a ruthless person," and "She was a cheerful and neat politician."
He continued, "After she became the floor leader in 2019, watching the scenes of paralyzing the National Assembly for over a year, I felt that even if the person changed, she changed too much," and "As Na Kyung-won became ruthless, the National Assembly was paralyzed and the country became noisy," he sharply criticized.
Woo also criticized, "The first statement of her declaration to run for Seoul mayor is that she will become ruthless, so I worry that the Seoul city council members from the Democratic Party and she will fight again, and Seoul city will be paralyzed."
He added, "Am I the only one worried that she will shake President Moon Jae-in ruthlessly and cause greater national chaos?" and emphasized, "I want to stress that a warm heart that cares for the lives of citizens is more necessary than a ruthless heart."

Earlier, former lawmaker Na officially declared her candidacy for the Seoul mayoral by-election that morning. This is her second attempt in 10 years since she ran as the Grand National Party candidate in the October 2011 Seoul mayoral by-election and lost to then-independent candidate Park Won-soon.
Na declared her candidacy at the Yongsan District’s Mukja Alley in Seoul, saying, "It cannot go on like this. Seoul must be reconstructed with a ruthless determination and delicate policies."
