Jeonnam Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special Education Teacher Recruitment, COVID-19 Confirmed Cases Allowed to Take the Exam
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 13th that it will conduct the '2021 Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special School (Kindergarten and Elementary) Teacher Candidate Selection Competitive Examination 2nd Test' over three days from the 13th to the 15th at Muan Oryong Elementary School and Mokpo Buju Elementary School.
This exam will be held for 534 candidates who passed the first test. On the 13th, there will be an in-depth interview on teaching aptitude, followed by a teaching demonstration on the 14th. On the 15th, English teaching demonstrations and English interviews will be conducted for elementary school candidates.
The Office of Education initially planned not to allow COVID-19 confirmed cases to take the exam. However, respecting the recent Constitutional Court ruling that "confirmed cases should also be allowed to take the bar exam," confirmed cases are permitted to take this 2nd test as well.
Applicants confirmed with COVID-19 will take the exam remotely from treatment facilities. They must submit a medical opinion confirming their ability to take the exam and a confirmed case exam application form to the Office of Education by 6 p.m. on the 12th.
