Yujin Robot is recently developing solutions that enable various wheeled equipment to move autonomously to their destinations. The newly released AMS-DemoKit-100 is a demo kit designed to test Yujin Robot's autonomous driving solution, allowing industries that require this technology to verify hardware configurations and directly test the software (solution).
The AMS-DemoKit-100 is mainly composed of ▲sensor unit ▲control unit ▲drive unit. The sensor unit scans a horizontal range of 270 degrees and a vertical range of 90 degrees using Yujin Robot's self-developed 3D LiDAR YRL3. The control unit includes an AM Board installed with SLAM and Navigation solutions, as well as a Wi-Fi module for wireless networking. The drive unit consists of wheels and a power supply for movement.
In particular, the control unit adopts an industrial board from Advantech, a company specializing in industrial Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, with whom Yujin Robot has conducted technical cooperation. Yujin Robot explained that by combining this with its navigation technology, it plans to implement autonomous driving technologies such as more accurate map creation, position recognition, route searching for driving, and obstacle avoidance.
