Gimhae City Supports Housing Stability for Low-Income Groups... Interest-Free Rental Deposit Assistance Provided
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 12th that it will promote the ‘Rental Deposit Support Project for Low-Income Households’ together with Gyeongnam Province to stabilize housing for low-income groups.
This project targets recipients under the ‘National Basic Livelihood Security Act’ who move into long-term public rental housing and the near-poor households living in housing below the minimum housing standards.
The long-term public rental housing in Gimhae consists of 10 complexes with 9,259 units, including the permanent rental housing in Gusan-dong. Applicants who wish to receive support can sign a lease contract with the supply entity and submit an application to the city. If eligible, they can receive interest-free support for up to 6 years within a maximum limit of 20 million KRW.
Applications can be submitted to the city’s Department of Multi-family Housing starting from the 12th. Detailed information can be found in the announcement posted on the city’s website.
