NesM Signs Publishing Contract for 'Dragon Raja EX'
Driving the Game Business in 2021 with RPG Publishing Contracts
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] NesM (CEO Shin Hyunjong) announced on the 11th that it has signed a publishing contract for the mobile RPG ‘Dragon Raja EX’ developed by EXPO Games (CEO Kim Sung).
Scheduled for release in the first half of 2021, ‘Dragon Raja EX’ inherits the worldview of the first-generation Korean fantasy novel ‘Dragon Raja,’ which sold over 2 million copies, and is expected to captivate users with its vast story and spectacular action.
Dragon Raja EX is a medieval fantasy-themed mobile collection RPG, and great effort is being made to reflect as much of the original work as possible in the game. The content is being developed focusing on story and adventure so that players can feel the same emotions as the original work.
The game features real-time battles with parties of five members and a differentiated growth system where players grow together through the bond system between dragons and rajas. In particular, the skill linkage system among party members is a crucial element in battles and the highlight of the game. It also includes various contents such as the Tower of Light with time attack mode and infinite battles that allow idle combat.
Shin Hyunjong, CEO of NesM, said, “We are pleased to be able to present the ‘Dragon Raja’ original game that has been loved steadily over many years,” and added, “With this contract for the RPG ‘Dragon Raja EX,’ 2021 will be a year to prove our competitiveness even in the hardcore genre.”
