[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] Former Future United Party lawmaker Na Kyung-won, ahead of her candidacy for the Seoul mayoral by-election, commented on her appearance on TV Chosun's entertainment program 'Taste of Wife,' saying, "I wanted to sincerely share the story of my life and my family."
On the 10th, former lawmaker Na took to her SNS and said, "I would like to belatedly talk about the 'Taste of Wife' episode that aired on the 5th."
Na said, "The encouragement given to our (daughter) Yuna was a great gift and support not only to Yuna but also to our entire family," adding, "Many people showed interest, and fortunately, many viewers seemed to empathize."
She continued, "I was able to fully feel the warm hearts of our people who cherish family values beyond ideology and political camps," and said, "(The broadcast appearance) was a new kind of meeting and dialogue with the people. I am sincerely grateful."
She also said, "Not only the content but also the filming process remains memorable," adding, "From the popular hosts to the assistant staff, everyone was serious and passionate, and they treated us comfortably. I am thankful."
Regarding the upcoming broadcast on the 12th featuring Minister of SMEs and Startups Park Young-sun, Na said, "I am curious and looking forward to what stories Minister Park will share."

Regarding some of the critical public opinion surrounding her broadcast appearance, former lawmaker Na dismissed it, saying, "Governor Lee Jae-myung of Gyeonggi Province has also appeared on fixed programs for quite a long time," and added, "I won't appear that often. I'm busy with politics."
