Yoo Seung-min Targets Lee Jae-myung... "Disaster Relief Funds, a Deceptive Trick Mocking the People"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] Former People Power Party lawmaker Yoo Seung-min publicly targeted Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung regarding the nationwide disaster relief fund payment.
On the 9th, Yoo posted on his Facebook, "Governor Lee, who had advocated for nationwide disaster relief payments, changed his stance yesterday by saying 'both universal and selective payments are good,'" and criticized, "This is a deceptive trick that underestimates the people."
He added, "There is no explanation as to why Governor Lee changed his words, so we can only guess," and pointed out, "Ultimately, before the election, he wants to give money to all citizens, and after the election, he proposes selective payments only to affected industries and citizens." He continued, "Isn't this because the April by-elections are approaching, so he wants to go with universal payments?"
In another post, former lawmaker Yoo claimed regarding North Korea's official development of nuclear submarines, "Over the past three and a half years, President Moon Jae-in endured various humiliations from North Korea while declaring to achieve North Korea's denuclearization and true peace, but North Korea has not changed at all."
