This marks the second consecutive season cancellation following last year. The PGA Tour China, which holds its season in China, grants top players in the money rankings eligibility to participate in the next season's PGA Tour Korn Ferry (second-tier) Tour, making it roughly equivalent to the Mackenzie (third-tier) Tour.
