Kia Motors Expands Contactless Maintenance Service Nationwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Kia Motors is implementing a nationwide contactless maintenance service to enhance customer convenience.
On the 8th, Kia announced that starting this month, it will launch the contactless vehicle maintenance service "K Delivery" nationwide, including Jeju Island.
K Delivery is an expanded and improved version of Kia's existing "Door to Door" service, designed to increase user convenience. The previous service involved a staff member picking up the vehicle from the customer's desired location, performing maintenance, and then returning the vehicle, but usage was limited in some areas.
The revamped K Delivery service partners with professional delivery companies to provide service nationwide, including remote island and mountainous areas as well as Jeju. Customers can hand over their vehicles to a professional driver within 30 minutes after applying for the service, or within 1 hour in remote island and mountainous regions, and can check driver assignment and vehicle movement status in real time via KakaoTalk.
Additionally, Kia plans to extend K Delivery operating hours centered on its direct service centers, allowing customers to send or receive vehicles outside of center operating hours (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM), with further system expansions scheduled within the year.
To commemorate the service revamp, Kia will hold a 1+1 event offering round-trip service at the price of one-way for the first 1,000 customers who use K Delivery through February.

A Kia official stated, "To actively respond to the rapidly increasing demand for contactless services across society, we have enhanced the usability of the existing no-visit maintenance service and newly launched the K Delivery service. Going forward, we will provide customer-focused contactless services by linking various services beyond maintenance."
