Boseong-gun Provides Up to 300 Million KRW Loan Support for Returning Farmers' Startup Costs
Apply for Housing Purchase Funds Lending Up to 75 Million Won at an Annual Interest Rate of 2%
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it is recruiting applicants for the 2021 support project for startup funds for returning farmers and housing purchase funds to help returning farmers settle stably in the region.
Applicants can apply at the town and township offices of their residence until the 5th of next month.
The support target is the head of a household born after January 1, 1955, who has continuously lived outside rural areas for more than one year based on the date of moving into a rural area, has moved to Boseong-gun, and has not passed five years since moving in. They must actually reside in Boseong while engaging in agriculture or have completed more than 100 hours of returning farmer agricultural education.
Up to 300 million KRW can be loaned as startup costs for agriculture, which can be used for expenses to establish a farming base such as purchasing farmland and installing facility greenhouses. Up to 75 million KRW can be supported for housing purchase and new construction costs at an annual interest rate of around 2%.
