Hampyeong Fire Station, Averaged 16 Dispatches Per Day Last Year

According to the Hampyeong Fire Station on the 7th, there were 1,327 rescue operations and 3,581 ambulance dispatches last year. The number of rescue operations was similar to that in 2019, while ambulance activities increased by about 17%.
Other activities such as safety calls increased by about 49% to 645 cases compared to 2019, and fires decreased by 27% to 344 cases.
The establishment of an ambulance team at the Sonbul 119 local unit led to an increase in ambulance activities, and the increase in safety calls installed in the homes of elderly living alone is analyzed to have contributed to the overall increase in fire department activities.
