Kyobo Securities "Trade Stock Futures and Receive Prizes"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Boryeong] Kyobo Securities is conducting a 'Stock Gifting' event.
Kyobo Securities announced on the 6th that it will hold the Stock Gifting event until the end of March.
Customers can participate by gifting stocks they own to others and completing the acceptance. Both the customer who gifts the stocks and the recipient will receive one chance each in the prize draw.
The stocks gifted must be priced at 50,000 KRW or less based on the previous trading day's closing price. Up to 10 gifts can be made within the year.
A total of 23 winners will receive prizes worth approximately 23 million KRW, including Samsung Electronics TVs, Air Dressers, and Galaxy Books, through a lottery.
New customers who open an account non-face-to-face and apply for the event will receive additional gift certificates. The first 1,000 applicants will be given a 10,000 KRW Kyobo Bookstore e-voucher, and a 20,000 KRW mobile department store gift certificate will be awarded upon trading a certain amount.

Lee Kyungmin, Head of Sales Support at Kyobo Securities, said, "We planned this customer appreciation event to celebrate the credit rating upgrade and the New Year." Korea Ratings and NICE Credit Rating upgraded Kyobo Securities' credit rating from A to AA- in November last year.
