[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, is recruiting participants for the 'Local Quarantine Job Project,' which provides direct jobs to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to stabilize the livelihoods of vulnerable groups, from the 8th to the 15th.
The number of recruits is 87, and they will be assigned to a total of 35 workplaces, including the Western Health Support Center and Gimhae Passenger Terminal.
Applicants must be Gimhae citizens aged 18 or older as of the project start date, with priority given to employment-vulnerable groups and those who have lost jobs or closed businesses due to COVID-19.
However, those who have participated repeatedly in financially supported job projects for more than two consecutive years, as well as spouses and children of public officials, are excluded from participation.
A city official said, "This project supports the livelihoods of residents experiencing economic difficulties due to COVID-19," and added, "We hope many residents who need practical support will participate."
