He stated, "We will ensure that most of the 9.3 trillion won of the 3rd disaster relief fund, which will start to be paid from next week, is distributed before the Lunar New Year," and added, "We will closely monitor the situation afterward and respond swiftly and flexibly."
He also emphasized the prompt handling of legislative issues such as the Serious Accidents Punishment Act. Lee urged lawmakers, "This week, we must do our best to pass the Serious Accidents Act, the Living Logistics Act, the 4.3 Special Act, and the Asia Culture Center City Act at the National Assembly."
