Jinju City's 'Good Prepayment Campaign' Continues as a Movement to Overcome COVID-19
241 Cases, Over 86 Million Won Prepaid, Small but Supporting Small Business Owners
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, launched the 'Good Prepayment Campaign' starting with the Jinju Volunteer Organizations Council and the Jinju Women's Organizations Council on December 10 last year to help small business owners and self-employed individuals struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The city announced on the 22nd that over 22 days, social organizations and city officials participated in 241 cases of good prepayments totaling more than 86 million won, and that the number would be considerable if including those who joined the good prepayment campaign in private and informal gatherings that were not recorded in the statistics.
