View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City announced on the 3rd that Heo Seong-wook, head of the Traditional Market Team in the Job Economy and Labor Department, was selected as an outstanding public official in the second half of 2020 government awards for his contributions to revitalizing traditional markets and received the Presidential Citation.
Since July 2019, Team Leader Heo has been working as the head of the Traditional Market Team and was highly praised for contributing to the recovery of vitality in traditional markets through the smooth promotion of major projects such as the Yeongilman Chingu Night Market and the completion of the Small and Medium Distribution Joint Wholesale Logistics Center.
Earlier, during the Pohang earthquake on November 15, 2017, he identified the triggered earthquake and successfully passed the audit by the Board of Audit and Inspection, according to Pohang City’s explanation.
