[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] The Daegu Lifelong Learning Promotion Foundation officially launched on the 4th, starting with the non-face-to-face online inauguration ceremony of the first director, Jang Wonyong.
Since April 2014, the Daegu Lifelong Education Promotion Center, which was entrusted and operated by the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Research Institute, has become an independent corporation as the Daegu Lifelong Learning Promotion Foundation.
The foundation will serve as a lifelong education learning control tower that encompasses numerous programs and projects operated in various scales scattered throughout the region by systematizing the network construction with lifelong education institutions and related organizations. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Daegu Knowledge Development Center annex of Daegu City Hall, which was formerly used as the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency job training center.
