Full-scale Implementation of Mobile Notifications Starting This Year

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced on the 3rd that it will officially begin mobile access to sex offender personal information notifications sent to the heads of households protecting children and adolescents under the age of 19 in the relevant administrative district when a sex offender moves in or out.
From now on, mobile notifications will be sent first, and postal notifications will only be sent if the mobile notification is not viewed.
The head of a household protecting children and adolescents under 19 who receives the mobile notification via KakaoTalk message can view the notification after registering with KakaoPay, a personal authentication method. No separate application is required to receive the mobile notification.
