Pohang City Deputy Mayor Appointed as Kim Byung-sam, Director of Gyeongbuk Provincial Autonomous Administration Bureau ... "Doing Our Best to Revitalize the Local Economy"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City announced on the 30th that Kim Byung-sam, Director of the Autonomy Administration Bureau of Gyeongbuk Province, will take office as the 20th Deputy Mayor of Pohang on January 1st next year.
The new Deputy Mayor Kim entered public service in 1996 as an administrative officer through the local civil service exam. He has served as Director of the International Trade Division of Gyeongbuk Province, Budget Officer, Deputy County Governor of Uiseong County, and was promoted to Local Deputy Director in 2015. Since then, he has served as Deputy Mayor of Yeongcheon City and Director of the Autonomy Administration Bureau of Gyeongbuk Province.
Deputy Mayor Kim was born in 1968 in Yeongcheon, Gyeongbuk, and graduated from Yeungnam University with a degree in Economics and from the Graduate School of Public Administration at Kyungpook National University.
