Gimhae City Selects 'Best Friendly Public Official of the Year'
‘Park Seonghee, Officer of the Land Information Division,’ Selected as Gimhae City's Kindness King of the Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, has selected the BEST Friendly Public Official of the Year 2020.
The selected employee is Park Seong-hee, a clerk in the Land Information Division, who stood out for her kind and proactive handling of tasks despite difficulties in responding to civil complaints and promoting projects due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) this year.
Clerk Park, in charge of land movement and development permit tasks, received the highest score based on a comprehensive evaluation of citizen satisfaction contribution, volunteer work performance, and department assessment.
Clerk Park was recommended by citizens who said, "She broke the stereotype of rigid administrative office staff by kindly explaining even the disorganized inquiries."
The city plans to comfort her hard work and boost morale in the public service by awarding Clerk Park the mayor's commendation and a prize money.
