Shinsegae Duty Free, Donation of Fund to Improve Working Conditions for Firefighters at Jungbu Fire Station
Funds Raised Through Employees' Salary Sharing Program 'Hope Delivery Campaign'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 31st that the funds raised through the Hope Delivery Campaign over the past year will be donated to social projects such as improving the working conditions of firefighters.
The 'Hope Delivery Campaign' is a salary-sharing program voluntarily participated in by employees, where a portion of employees' salaries is collected to form a donation fund, and the company matches the same amount to create the donation fund. Through this, the campaign continues with the aim of making a small contribution to the local community. Currently, 95% of employees participate, and the total donations raised this year amount to 71 million KRW.
This year's matched donations will be used for projects including 'Jungbu Fire Station, Improvement of Firefighters' Working Conditions,' 'Seocho Cultural Foundation, Classical Talent Development Project,' and 'War Memorial, Scholarship Program for Descendants of Veterans.'
