Jeonnam Ready-Mix Concrete Manufacturers Donate 5 Million Won to Junggi Sarang Nanum Foundation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KOSME) announced on the 29th that it received a donation of 5.99 million won from the Jeonnam Southern Ready-Mixed Concrete Business Cooperative and the Jeonnam Southwestern Ready-Mixed Concrete Business Cooperative to be used for welfare projects by the Small and Medium Business Love Sharing Foundation.
The Jeonnam Southern Ready-Mixed Concrete Business Cooperative and the Jeonnam Southwestern Ready-Mixed Concrete Business Cooperative are companies that manufacture ready-mixed concrete, a key material for construction work. Established to promote the sound development of the industry, protect rights and interests, and improve quality, they strive for balanced economic development of the nation and continue to donate annually to help neighbors in need and small and medium enterprises.
Sun Moon-gyu, chairman of the Jeonnam Southern Ready-Mixed Concrete Business Cooperative, who delivered the donation on behalf of the local industry, said, “The local community continues to face difficulties due to COVID-19, so we wanted to contribute even a little. In difficult times, if companies share their profits and values with the local community even a little, we will surely overcome the crisis.”
