Head Choi is a financial expert from Daejeon who joined Hanwha Group through open recruitment in 1989 and worked at Hanwha Investment & Securities for 30 years. He was promoted to executive in 2011 and was in charge of investment and asset management, sales and marketing strategies, and online and digital businesses. He also served as the head of major strategic regional headquarters including Daejeon and Chungcheong areas.
He is recognized for contributing to the win-win development of large and small businesses through investment attraction, business strategy, initial public offerings (IPO), and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) support for startups as well as small and venture companies. He completed a doctoral course in Public Administration at Chungnam National University and is active as a professional committee member and director at Daejeon Technopark, Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, and Bio Healthcare Association.
