Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and aT Recruit Participants for Next Year's Shared Use of Logistics Equipment Program
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) are recruiting applicants for the 2021 logistics equipment shared use project, aimed at reducing agricultural product distribution costs and promoting logistics efficiency, until the 8th of next month.
The logistics equipment shared use project allows joint use of logistics equipment such as pallets and plastic boxes for shipments, providing subsidies covering 40% of rental fees, and 60% when shipping through public wholesale markets.
Eligible applicants include agricultural cooperatives, agricultural corporations or farming associations, registered producers in public wholesale markets or Nonghyup auction markets. In particular, incentive subsidies will also be provided based on participation in production area revitalization policies such as mandatory fund contributions and comprehensive production area distribution evaluations.
