MonthlySing, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Designates Usage Locations for 'Sanitary Pad Voucher'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] MonthlySing, a women’s health lifestyle care platform, announced on the 28th that it has been designated as a menstrual pad voucher usage location by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. The Ministry’s menstrual pad voucher support program provides voucher points worth 11,000 KRW per month and up to 132,000 KRW annually to female adolescents aged 11 to 18 who meet the eligibility criteria to purchase menstrual pads. Voucher recipients are issued the national voucher integrated card, the 'Gukmin Haengbok Card,' which can be used at designated locations.
With the expansion of online distribution channels for menstrual pad vouchers through MonthlySing, users’ purchasing accessibility is expected to improve. In particular, MonthlySing, which specializes in women’s products, is anticipated to offer users greater convenience with products and services tailored to women’s lifestyles.
Voucher users can purchase various menstrual products such as menstrual pads, liners, tampons, and menstrual cups on MonthlySing. Additionally, a subscription delivery service is provided, allowing users to set their cycle once and conveniently receive menstrual products as needed. MonthlySing sells menstrual products 5-10% cheaper than the lowest internet prices through direct transactions with manufacturers. When paying with vouchers, free shipping is offered with no minimum order amount, increasing voucher utilization. Furthermore, events for menstrual pad voucher users, such as additional reward points for purchasing all products within the app and gift giveaways, will be held regularly.
