[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] A German pilot flew a route shaped like a 'syringe' to commemorate the start of COVID-19 vaccination in Europe, Fox News and others reported on the 27th (local time).
According to the report, amateur pilot Jami Kramer (20) took off on the morning of the 23rd from Friedrichshafen in Baden-W?rttemberg, southern Germany, in a light aircraft, flew about 200 km along a syringe-shaped route, and then returned to the departure point.
The 'syringe route' expressed by Kramer through this flight was about 70 km long, including the depiction of a vaccine droplet at the tip of the needle. His flight path can be viewed on flight tracking websites.
Kramer said, "Many people still oppose vaccination," adding, "My action could be an opportunity for them to think about and act on vaccination."
