According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 28th, Fire Lieutenant Roh Hwan-saeng of Boseong Fire Station, Fire Lieutenant Kim Hyo-gap of Goheung Fire Station, and Fire Captain Kim Jong-min of Yeongam Fire Station were selected as Hero Firefighters. They will be awarded the Governor's Commendation.
The selection of the 'Hero Firefighter of the Year' is an award given to employees who have faithfully performed their duties with dedicated effort and proactive attitude at frontline fire stations, greatly contributing to the development of Jeonnam provincial administration. Since 2014, three firefighters have been selected annually to boost the morale of fire service personnel.
The three firefighters selected this year have demonstrated a strong sense of national duty and mission, actively working at various disaster sites. In particular, they are recognized by their seniors and juniors for their exemplary work attitude and leading by example.
