According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters, at around 6:53 a.m. on the 28th, a Starex van heading from Nokjeon-dong in Yeongcheon city toward Omigyo Intersection slipped on Nokjeon Bridge and overturned.
Following this, 13 vehicles behind collided one after another, and 4 vehicles coming from the opposite lane also slipped and collided in a chain reaction. Two people riding in the van were injured and transported to a nearby hospital.
