Welcome Savings Bank Donates 200 Million KRW to Medical Staff Fighting COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Welcome Savings Bank announced on the 28th that it donated 200 million won to medical staff who are dedicating themselves on the front lines and in medical settings to overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The donation will be delivered through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. The funds will be used to purchase thermal protective clothing, rechargeable hand warmers, neck warmers, and other items for medical staff fighting against COVID-19. A total of 5,000 sets will be produced and primarily distributed to medical staff at screening clinics nationwide.
Kim Dae-woong, CEO of Welcome Savings Bank, said, "I hope this small support can be a source of encouragement to the medical staff who are dedicating themselves day and night to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the lives of the people."
