'Cohort Isolation' Cheongju Chamsarang Nursing Home Reports 10 Additional Confirmed Cases... Total 105 Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Ten more confirmed cases have emerged at Cheongju Chamsarang Nursing Home, where a cluster infection of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) occurred.
According to Cheongju City on the 27th, eight residents and two staff members of the nursing home tested positive in additional tests.
They had tested negative in three rounds of testing on the 17th, 20th, and 23rd, but were confirmed positive in the fourth test conducted the previous day. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 105.

Among the 74 residents, 67, about 90%, have tested positive. Additionally, 29 staff members and 9 others including family members have been infected. The nursing home, where the cluster infection occurred, is currently under cohort isolation.
