View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] Professor Kim Geun-sik of Gyeongnam National University, chairman of the People Power Party's Songpa-byeong district committee, said that the ruling party's call for the "impeachment of Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol" is "just the clamor of 'Tandori' who have become obsessed with impeachment, lost in the nostalgia of the candlelight protests."
'Tandori' is a derogatory term used to describe the first-term lawmakers of the Uri Party who entered the National Assembly in large numbers due to the backlash against the impeachment of former President Roh Moo-hyun in the 2004 general election.
On the 26th, Professor Kim said on Facebook, "Following the obstinacy of impeachment originator Chu Mi-ae, the ignorant and brave Kim Doo-kwan's call for impeachment is hastening the downfall of the Democratic Party."
Professor Kim criticized, "After the suspension from duty was stayed, and the disciplinary suspension was also stayed, and the attempts to oust Yoon Seok-yeol were repeatedly thwarted by the judiciary, now Democratic Party lawmakers Kim Doo-kwan and Hwang Un-ha are talking about impeaching Yoon Seok-yeol in the National Assembly," adding, "If you are ignorant, you are simple, and if you are simple, you are brave."
