18 Confirmed Cases Cluster at Gyeongnam Changnyeong National Bugok Hospital
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] Eighteen patients hospitalized at the National Bugok Hospital in Changnyeong, Gyeongnam, were collectively diagnosed positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 26th that out of 30 patients transferred from Eumseong, Chungbuk to Bugok Hospital, 18 tested positive.
National Bugok Hospital is a specialized psychiatric hospital. According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters' measures, they were transferred from Eumseong, Chungbuk to Bugok Hospital in Changnyeong on the 22nd. All were negative at the time of transfer, but on this day’s test results, 18 were confirmed positive.
They are not included in the Gyeongnam confirmed case count but are classified as other confirmed cases numbers 7 to 24.

The province stated that since the transferred patients were in self-quarantine during transport, no group quarantine measures will be applied to the hospital. The confirmed patients are scheduled to be transferred to National Masan Hospital and others.
