121 Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed at Anonymous Testing Sites in the Seoul Metropolitan Area

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] An additional 121 confirmed cases were identified through diagnostic tests conducted at temporary screening clinics in the Seoul metropolitan area to detect COVID-19 cases early.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 25th, a total of 60,931 people were tested at temporary screening clinics set up across the metropolitan area the previous day, and 121 of them tested positive. This accounts for about 10% of the 1,216 locally transmitted confirmed cases reported the day before.
Earlier, as COVID-19 rapidly spread in the metropolitan area, the Central Disease Control Headquarters established and operated temporary screening clinics starting on the 14th. The cumulative number of confirmed cases, including new cases, is 1,025.
