Ministry of Education Conducts Online Training for Faculty and Staff on 'Psychological Recovery'

The Ministry of Education announced on the 27th that it has prepared a psychological recovery education program recommended by psychiatrists.
The education will be conducted online, and 3,000 applicants can receive the education through the education website, while those wishing to attend on the day can participate via YouTube.
The main topics are pain management and positive psychology. It proposes methods to manage the body and mind that have therapeutic effects in response to pain caused by trauma and stress, and guides how to find one’s strengths and values for a happy life.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has provided non-face-to-face counseling through psychological support teams involving child psychiatrists for students in self-quarantine or confirmed cases. In addition, physical and mental treatment costs have been supported for high-risk groups for mental health. Treatment costs of approximately 547 million KRW were supported for 613 students. Through the text message counseling service ‘Dadeureojulgae,’ 57,607 cases were received.
