Detailed Profiles of Journalists' Age and Education to Appear on Naver
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] On Naver, users will be able to check journalists' educational background, career, and social network service (SNS) information.
On the 23rd, Naver announced through its official blog, "From the 29th, more detailed information about domestic journalists will be provided," adding, "journalist activities will be offered as a tab within the profile information."
This applies to journalists registered on Naver News' 'Journalist Home.'
Currently, searching a journalist's name shows a brief self-introduction and a list of recent articles.
Going forward, when searching a journalist's name on Naver, a detailed profile including birth, affiliation, education, awards, and career will appear, similar to searches for politicians or celebrities. However, if the journalist chooses not to disclose the information, it will not be shown.
Additionally, the 'Journalist Activities' tab will provide information within the Journalist Home. Users can check subscription and support information as well as news articles.
Naver explained, "This revamp is to better introduce journalist information to users."
