"Don't Worry About Interpretation" Gimcheon City Provides Interpretation Services in 13 Languages at Civil Service Centers and Community Offices
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 23rd that it will provide interpretation services through cooperation with the Danuri Call Center.
Simultaneous three-party interpretation services will be provided at community service centers and general civil service offices for 13 languages including Chinese, Russian, Khmer, and Mongolian, enabling civil petition applications. It is expected to assist with civil petitions related to family relationship registration, passport services, residence changes, and foreigner entry management for COVID-19 quarantine.
The Danuri Call Center Gumi Center in Gyeongbuk, which provides linked services, is a public institution under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. In addition to providing interpretation services, it also operates emergency shelter facilities for migrant women victims of violence and family counseling rooms for multicultural families.
