GS Shop Supports Partner Companies in Excessive Packaging Inspection... Also Provides Online Training

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] GS Shop is supporting partner companies with oversized packaging inspection services and online education to expand eco-friendly packaging.
GS Shop announced on the 23rd that it has established an eco-friendly packaging support program to encourage participation from its partner companies.
The eco-friendly packaging support program consists of two parts: an oversized packaging inspection service and online education. Both programs are conducted in collaboration with the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL), which signed an eco-friendly packaging business agreement with GS Shop last month.
The oversized packaging inspection service allows partner companies that wish to have their packaging inspected to send products to KCL in the actual state they are shipped. KCL then inspects whether the packaging is oversized based on the Ministry of Environment standards. All inspection costs are covered by GS Shop.
The online education is designed to help partner companies develop their own eco-friendly capabilities, focusing on the Ministry of Environment’s eco-friendly policies, regulations related to oversized packaging, and real case studies. On the 22nd, 87 people from 48 companies participated in the online video education session.
