President Jeong Hyeon-jo, Native of Hapcheon-gun, Elected as Chairman of Gyeongnam Branch of the Korea Beekeeping Association (Inc.)
Served as President of the Gyeongnam Provincial Branch from the 15th to 18th Terms for 12 Years
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] It was announced on the 23rd that Jeong Hyeon-jo (63), from Ssangbaek-myeon, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, was elected as the 20th chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do branch of the Korea Beekeeping Association at the 2020 regular general meeting.
Jeong Hyeon-jo has been raising about 600 beehives in the Hapcheon area for approximately 30 years and has contributed significantly to fostering the Hapcheon honey brand and improving the quality of beekeeping products by joining the Hapcheon branch of the Beekeeping Association.
The elected chairman previously served as the chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do branch from the 15th to the 18th term for 12 years, and with this election as the 20th chairman, it is his fifth term.
The term of office is three years, from December 17, 2020, until the election in December 2023.
