Coway, Ranked No.1 in Water Purifier Category for 4 Consecutive Years as 'Customer-Recommended Company'
Strengthening the Status of Service Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coway (CEO Lee Hae-sun) announced on the 21st that it was selected as the No. 1 water purifier brand for four consecutive years in the '2020 Most Recommended Companies by Customers (KNPS)' survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). Coway has been ranked first in the water purifier category a total of 13 times since its first No. 1 ranking in 2001.
The Most Recommended Companies by Customers (KNPS) is a survey that models and evaluates the willingness of customers to recommend the products and services of companies they have experienced to others. The survey is conducted annually with about 10,000 consumers residing in the metropolitan area and six major metropolitan cities nationwide.
Coway explained that it received high customer recommendations by enhancing customer value through continuous innovation and improving customer satisfaction with differentiated services. In particular, among consumer recommendation items, Coway received higher recommendation scores compared to competitors in the categories of water taste and water quality excellence of water purifiers.
Including this KNPS, Coway solidified its status as a trusted service company by being ranked first in major consumer surveys this year such as the Korea Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI) and the Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI). Last year, Coway established the 'Water Taste Research Institute' and developed the industry's first 'Water Taste Index' to diagnose the taste of water from water purifiers, continuing in-depth research to provide cleaner and better-tasting water. Recently, it has continued service innovation by providing optimized customized care solutions to customers based on big data.
