[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Seoul city announced on the 21st that a large-scale cluster infection of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) occurred at a nursing hospital in Guro-gu, Seoul.
Accordingly, the city has implemented cohort isolation measures and is conducting contact tracing and testing.
According to Seoul city, due to the cluster outbreak at the nursing hospital in Guro-gu, 64 confirmed cases were reported in Seoul alone by midnight of the day, with an additional 10 cases tentatively counted thereafter.
One hospitalized patient at the hospital was first confirmed positive on the 15th, and 63 additional confirmed cases were identified among patients, caregivers, and guardians at the same nursing hospital and nursing home.
