View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 21st, Changwon City in Gyeongnam awarded plaques of appreciation to 15 individuals including workers, participants, and sponsors who have made efforts in self-sufficiency projects amid the difficulties caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
In particular, Korea South-East Power and Dohyun Construction, which have been actively sponsoring self-sufficiency projects this year, received commendations.
In 2020, Changwon City's self-sufficiency projects showed achievements in creating jobs and enhancing self-reliance for low-income residents by discovering new project groups such as 'Panggre,' the youth independence challenge team of Changwon Self-Sufficiency Center, the comprehensive laundry project group of Masan Hope Self-Sufficiency Center, Cafe 102 of Masan Regional Self-Sufficiency Center, and the youth independence cafe of Jinhae Regional Self-Sufficiency Center.
Currently, the city is entrusting and operating self-sufficiency labor projects at four regional self-sufficiency centers, with a total of 600 participants involved in various self-sufficiency labor projects.
