Partial Closure of Gwangju Christian Hospital Following COVID-19 Confirmed Cases Among Medical Staff and Patients

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City's quarantine authorities on the 21st, a nursing assistant, Ms. A, working in Ward 5 of Gwangju Christian Hospital was confirmed positive for COVID-19 the day before and registered as Gwangju case number 876.
The quarantine authorities conducted a full investigation of about 70 medical staff and patients in Ward 5 of Christian Hospital, resulting in three additional patients and one nurse testing positive.
The infection route of the initial confirmed case number 876 is under investigation, and the case was confirmed after symptoms appeared on the 19th and testing was conducted.
It was confirmed that she worked from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 18th and 19th.
