"Carol Is Back" SK Telecom Sends Christmas Music and Movie Gifts Again This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Seolgina Cho] SK Telecom is giving away mobile music and video content as gifts for the Christmas season.
On the 21st, SK Telecom announced that it will hold the second season of the event "Carol Is Back" following last year.
First, through the mobile music platform FLO, it will provide a list of over 1,000 songs themed around Christmas and give free 300-time music listening coupons to up to 50,000 customers. The free music listening coupons can be issued from the 21st to the 26th of this month and registered until the 31st.
Additionally, the online video service (OTT) wavve will offer a dedicated menu screen featuring Christmas-related movies such as "La La Land" and "Carol" for two days on the 24th and 25th. Wavve users who have not purchased paid tickets can also enjoy all related content for free.
The V Coloring service, a "visible coloring" service, will also offer free access to carol content until the end of this month. V Coloring provides over 40 Christmas carol contents along with various Christmas season videos.
Along with this, SK Telecom plans to provide Christmas carol store music to small business stores nationwide, including 5GX Boost Parks, T Membership affiliated convenience stores, restaurants, and bakeries. Last year, SK Telecom conducted the "Carol Is Back" project, which provided free streaming services including carols to small businesses nationwide during the year-end and New Year holidays, receiving great responses with about 10,000 stores participating.
Yu Sang-young, Head of SK Telecom MNO Business, explained, "This event to provide free music and video content was prepared with the intention of offering some warm comfort not only to customers who have to spend Christmas and year-end holidays under restricted circumstances but also to small business owners struggling due to social distancing and other difficulties."
