[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 18th that it conducted on-site inspections to verify compliance with quarantine rules following the implementation of the social distancing level 2 administrative order (starting on the 28th).
Accordingly, all employees of the Sports Industry Division are conducting on-site inspections in pairs targeting a total of 1,072 locations, including 880 entertainment and dining establishments, general and rest restaurants, and 192 beauty salons and bathhouses.
The county focuses on managing quarantine rules such as ▲allowing only takeout and delivery after 10 p.m. at general and rest restaurants ▲suspending operations of entertainment and dining establishments after 10 p.m. ▲limiting the number of people in bathhouses, barbershops, and beauty salons to one person per 8㎡ of facility area, and prohibiting food consumption in bathhouses.
Additionally, special guidance and inspections are conducted on all establishments regarding the preparation of visitor logs and mandatory mask-wearing.
For establishments that fail to comply with or violate quarantine rules, administrative measures such as fines will be imposed, and claims for damages (subrogation rights) will be pursued in case of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
