[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Yoon Hee-sook, a member of the People Power Party, will join the nomination management committee for the April 7 by-election scheduled to launch next week.
According to the People Power Party, it has been confirmed that Rep. Yoon was officially approached and appointed as the 'Seoul quota' nomination committee member. This effectively formalizes Rep. Yoon's decision not to run, although she was initially mentioned as a candidate for the Seoul mayoral by-election.

Yoon, an economic expert from KDI, gained attention during the first government questioning session of the 21st National Assembly with her so-called five-minute speech for tenants. Recently, Rep.
